The strikes over wage are actually usual in Argentina and are not longterm. But if the current one will continue it can have an influence on the general flow of grains. The strike takes place exactly at the time when the farmers are finishing to reap their harvest. The work stoppage in Rosario that is considered to be an important corn and soya supplier caused also vessel's schedule delays, as ships can not move into the Rosario-port area.
