Cheng Lie adds Korea – Vietnam – Thailand service through slots

Cheng Lie Navigation (CNC), the intra-Asia specialist within the CMA CGM Group, is to add a Korea Vietnam Thailand service to its portfolio through slots on the ‘KVT’ service jointly operated by CK-Line and Namsung.

The two Korean operators deploy three ships on the 21-day weekly service, which run along the following rotation: Busan, Ulsan, Kwangyang, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh, Busan.

CNC’s slotting arrangement will start on 25 October with the sailing of the 1,850 teu STARSHIP PEGASUS from Busan.

The loop deploys three 2013-built sister vessels, all owned by Namsung, who charters one of the ships out to its partner CK-Line.
