​Weekly New Buildings Overview

This week’s report contains five new vessels and the corresponding entry dates on the services. With MARIBO MAERSK, Maersk Line receives the next Triple-E vessel that will be employed on AE10.

As of February 24th, Maersk will deploy six Triple-E vessels out of 12 on its North Europe to Far East service as MAGLEBY MAERSK, mentioned in the new buildings report last week will replace 15,500 TEU EMMA MAERSK. The next Triple-E vessel, MARIBO MAERSK, will join in in April and replace EMMA MAERSK’s sister ship ELEONORA MAERSK. Both vessels will cascade into AE2. The average weekly capacity of AE10 is scheduled to steadily increase from 16,650 TEU in Febru- ary to 17,110 TEU by end of April..
