General cargo vessel Luhnau suffered steering failure on Nov 15 in Bay of Biscay some 200 nm off Brest, and requested assistance. Vessel was en route from the UK to Portugal, reportedly with cargo of scrap. Salvage vessel Abeille Bourbon was dispatched, Luhnau was taken on tow, and on Nov 17 arrived to Brest on tow of local tugs. At 0530 UTC Nov 21 vessel was still moored in Brest.
