Ro-ro container ship Atlantic Companion suffered engine failure in North Atlantic

Ro-ro container ship Atlantic Companion suffered engine breakdown in the morning Jan 20 off Fastnet Rock islet, southern Ireland, North Atlantic, en route from Liverpool to Halifax. Vessel was drifting for almost 12 hours, but managed to fix the engine and started moving towards Bantry Bay, southern Ireland, in order to anchor there for repairs. At 0330 UTC Jan 21 vessel was anchored in Bantry Bay.
