Second ferry for Newhaven-Dieppe route
DFDS Seaways is doubling the capacity of its Transmanche Ferries passenger/ro-ro service linking Newhaven (UK) and Dieppe (France). A second vessel, Seven Sisters, will operate from 1 May to 30 September, joining sistership Cote d’Albatre on the route.
Both ferries, built in Spain by Barreras, and delivered in 2006 were specifically designed for the Newhaven-Dieppe service. However for the past couple of years Seven Sisters has been operating on LD Lines service between Portsmouth and Le Havre. This service stopped at the end of 2014.
