Recovered the remains of American pilots off Grado

TRIESTE 11 September 2015

Ended today with the return of the support ship "USNS Grasp" in the port of Trieste, the operations of recovery of the remains of American airmen who, for 71 years remained at sea off the coast of Grado, close to what is left (the central part of the fuselage and the tail) of the B24 bomber crashed into the sea in 1944, after being hit by German flak over Bressanone.
