Brand new ferry COPENHAGEN was disabled for some 3 hours while sailing to Gedser

Brand new ferry COPENHAGEN, serving Rostock – Gedser line, suffered some technical problem while on Rostock – Gedser trip in the morning Dec 28, with 137 passengers on board. Vessel left Rostock at 0910 LT and stopped at 1020, laying dead in water until 1240. Vessel resumed sailing and arrived to Gedser some three hours behind schedule. According to operator, ferry won’t be taken off service. According to AIS, at 1430 UTC Dec 28 vessel was halfway between Gedser and Rostock, en route to Rostock.
