Container ship MAERSK PEMBROKE fire, Celtic sea

Container ship MAERSK PEMBROKE suffered fire, probably after explosion, at around 2300 UTC Aug 21 in Celtic sea west of Lizard Point, while en route from Antwerp Belgium to Montreal Canada. Vessel ran out in a short time, AIS off since around 0000 UTC Aug 22. Offshore supply tug EDDA FRENDE was at distressed vessel’s by 0700 UTC Aug 22, most probably contracted for salvage. No other information available at the moment. It may be fire which damaged machinery or electronics and thus, disabled the vessel, or it may be fire in containers, which can be considered as a worse scenario.
