British freighter twice troubled in Kiel Canal, berthed for check

General cargo vessel SCOT LEADER was troubled twice during westbound Kiel Canal transit in the evening Nov 25. First time vessel was disabled in Radar island area after mechanical failure at around 2050 UTC, but managed to fix problem and resume sailing. At around 2130 UTC vessel was disabled again, and contacted ferry dock at Nobiskrug, Rendsburg. Vessel was taken to berth in Rendsburg area for a thorough check, as of 1400 UTC Nov 26 she was still berthed. Vessel is en route from Lativa to UK.
