​ Freighter BF TIMARU struck new Kiel-Holtenau Lock Gate

General cargo ship BF TIMARU struck Kiel-Holtenau new gate, which replaced the one destroyed by container ship AKACIA on Feb 19, at around 0700 LT Apr 20 while entering the lock. Gate underwater damages yet unknown, surface section sustained dents. The ship was allowed to continue her voyage to Gdansk after survey.
