Japanese car carrier hard aground in Swedish waters

Update: There are 1325 cars on board, destined for Sweden. There wasn’t water ingress according to latest news, but hydraulic oil leak, which was sealed. Chief Officer is a main suspected in an accident, because he was on watch, and somehow, managed to steer ship to a shallow, running at full speed.
Update: Swedish CG said refloating will take days, and though owner believes she can refloat by herself with tide, that seems to be highly doubtful. Salvage company already in talks.
1030 UTC: Car carrier MAKASSAR HIGHWAY ran aground in Baltic sea north of Vastervik at around 0830 UTC Jul 23 while sailing north to Sodertalje, Sweden, seemingly it’s a navigational error, vessel should be hard aground, as she ran aground at full speed.
