Container ship damaged in collision, Antwerp

Container ship HEINRICH SCHEPERS collided with embankment at Doel, Scheldt, Belgium, while entering Antwerp port, at around 0000 UTC Jul 29. Reportedly HEINRICH SCHEPERS sustained hull breach of some 2 meters long, above waterline. HEINRICH SCHEPERS was taken to berth, as of 0400 UTC she was in the same position, berthed at Antwerp. Mechanical failure is believed to be the cause of an accident.
