Irish freighter troubled when entering French Port

General cargo ship ARKLOW FORTUNE was turned across channel by strong wind and swell when entering Les Sables Port, France, Bay of Biscay, in the morning Dec 19, with her stern resting on breakwater embankment. The ship was assisted by tug or tugs, returned to fairway, entered port and berthed. Reportedly, she sustained some damages.
