Norwegian Aframax troubled in Marmara sea

Aframax crude oil tanker ERVIKEN encountered mechanical issue in Marmara sea off Bosphorus, while about to commence Straits transit, en route from Piraeus to Kavkaz. Tanker is in ballast, she was taken to Ahirkapi Anchorage, Istanbul, Marmara sea, and anchored, in the afternoon Jan 20. She left anchorage at 2245 UTC Jan 20, moved, under own power, south, and as of 0100 UTC Jan 21, was cruising at slow speed south of Bosphorus, probably waiting out for Bosphorus transit go-ahead.
