Many thanks Pedro, I replaced my old Nikon D50, after a friend of mine made me try the P900. It has an incredible optical (24-2000). This photo was taken in "moon" mode, the ship was more than two kilometers away: https://photos.fleetmon.com/vessels/artania_8201480_2277085_XLarge.jpg

But there is a big problem with the camera, it makes too many very similare photos.

Dear Juergen, You are focusing too much on my photos .... You should also look at the photos of others ... Greetings Claudio

kl@us, I remember the words of Felix Richter in 2012:" Please upload only quality, not quantity. From the former Guidelines:" There should be a DISTINCT CHANGE (at least 40°) between the uploaded photo, a suitable sequence for a ship would be Head On, Bow or Shoulder, Beam, Quarter, Stern: taken from port or starboard.

Dear Juergen, as I have already told you, you are concentrating too much on my photos, you should also look at the photos of others (which sometimes are also double or triple), or do not respect the guidelines. If you speak to me of 40 ° between one and the other, even Your don't respect this absurd pseudo-rule ... In 40 ° you can have many different photos, which highlight many details of the ship. I don't think my photos are of poor quality and that they do not comply with current guidelines. The photos I take of the ships up close, the spacers of 50 - 100 meters, while those I do from afar the distance of 1 - 2 kilometers. Greetings Claudio
